Daffodil Day 2017 :  Thank you to all our pupils who engaged with our Daffodil Day fundraiser last Friday. We raised €216 for Hospice and look forward to welcoming Mary Teresa Feehan to collect the funds on behalf of our local Hospice. Our entrepreneurs in Rang 6 have also brought their mini business to a close and have decided that a donation from their profits is donated to local charities. The Irish Cancer Society was identified as one of two charities whom they would donate €85 of their profits, with Crumlin Children’s Hospital being the other. I would like to take the time to commend the generosity of Rang 6 for identifying such worthy charities and thank them for having the initiative to follow through with their actions.

Confirmation 2017: Our candidates for Confirmation are busy putting the final touches to their special sacrament preparation. Reminder to all that staff of St. Mary’s will be involved with the Confirmation Celebration on Thursday, 6th April. We are very grateful to all the pupils from Rang 3,4 & 5 who have agreed to join our school choir on the day also. They will be a memorable and special addition to our ceremony. Confirmation is a very important day in our parish and for our school. We look forward to celebrating with all our Confirmants on Thursday week.

Parents Council Meeting:  Our next Parents Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, 4th April at 8.30pm in St. Mary’s Central NS.
