Killenaule Juvenile GAA Club Notes

Killenaule Juvenile GAA Club held an Inter-County Coaching Day at Scoil Ruain, Killenaule for all boys and girls from Ballinure, Moyglass and Killenaule National Schools 1st Class – 6th Class. It was fantastic to see all primary schools in the community coming together for this occasion.  Refreshments were very kindly sponsored by A&C Chemicals Europe Ltd and Mossy Mullins sponsored sliothers for each child. The club would like to acknowledge their support, it is very much appreciated.  The day was a great success starting with the good weather, the large number of Killenaule Inter-County players who volunteered their time to coach each class football and hurling skills. The Scoil Ruain TY students assisted the coaches and helped to give out lunches to the children, their help was greatly appreciated. Thanks to Tipperary Hurler Cathal Barrett who passed on some valuable tips to the children. Thanks to everyone who helped making the lunches, the children were delighted. The Juvenile Club Committee put in a lot of work both before the event and to those on the day your work, time and effort is much appreciated by all.

All children participated showing great skills, enthusiasm and energy and of course requesting this to become a weekly event!! Thanks to the staff at Ballinure, Moyglass, Killenaule N.S and Scoil Ruain for supporting and facilitating this day.  We will in no doubt see some of these children representing their county in the future.  The club looks forward to seeing some new faces from the schools joining in the GAA fun and games as the 2018 season kicks off.

We encourage as many parents as possible to attend on the night. This is a free event to all and kindly hosted by our Parents Council.
